What is event and activation?

Event and activation is the creation of live, in-person brand experiences, launches, trade activations, corporate events, roadshows, sampling and conferences, planned and produced end to end. It is the practice of bringing a brand into the real world as a moment people attend, take part in and remember.

Why live moments cut through

A live experience engages people directly and physically, in a way no ad can replicate, and the moments it creates are remembered, shared and talked about. Done well, an event turns an audience from spectators into participants; done poorly, a rare, high-stakes opportunity is wasted, because live moments rarely come twice.

How produced experiences create momentum

A well-produced event or activation turns a single moment into lasting momentum, an experience guests remember, coverage that travels, and content the wider campaign can keep using. We plan and produce live experiences end to end, so the moment lands flawlessly and works hard long after it ends.

Event & Activation FAQs

What is event and activation marketing?

It is the creation of live, in-person brand experiences, such as launches, activations, corporate events, roadshows and sampling, planned and produced end to end to engage audiences directly.

What does this practice include at Libanza?

It covers Brand Launch Events, Trade Activations, Corporate Events, Roadshows, Sampling Programmes and Conference Production, delivered as part of our Experience Design practice.

Why invest in live events and activations?

Live experiences engage people physically and create memorable, shareable moments that advertising cannot replicate, building strong brand connection and generating reusable content.

What is the difference between an event and an activation?

An event is a produced occasion such as a launch or conference. An activation is an on-ground programme designed to drive a specific action or engagement, often in trade or retail. Both are live experiences and often overlap.

Do you manage events end to end?

Yes. We handle concept, production design, logistics, AV, crew and on-site management, and can capture content for use after the event.
